The Thermapool insulation system can include a pool water cooling loop, that is be placed in the backfill of the swimming pool surround, which you switch on to allow the swimming pool to cool down in the hottest months of the summer.

Our customers have told us that their outdoor swimming pools in the UK can get so hot during the summer, they have to switch off the swimming pool heating.

This is due to the Thermapool system capturing the solar radiation gains and heating the swimming pool water for free. We recommend that swimming pools have a water pipe, used as a cooling loop, placed in the backfill of the swimming pool when constructed to allow your pool to cool down if required as part of your filtration system if it heats above 32oC.
